Story: Period is a light-hearted film about two girls that go on a Robinhood-quest, stealing pads and tampons for their underserved middle school. The film sheds a light on period poverty.
About: The film is a part of “In Bloom”, an anthology of five short scripted films for Paramount+ that addressed gender equity concerns around the world. It was funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation created by MTV Staying Alive Foundation.
